Well, this is basically how I draw my pictures. I was inspired to make this after I saw May's one. If you have an questions or are unsure of anything then just leave me a comment and I'll try and explain it again. Sorry if parts of this don't make much sense: I was in a bit of a rush to finish it, haha.
Oh, and sorry for the giant filesize!
EDIT April 7th 2007;;
This is no longer how I do my pictures anymore so yarr. I still hope you find this useful though?
Very nice, this oughta help alot!
One question: On the markings part, how did you get the brush stokes to look... all... blendy? XD Can't describe it. If you understand, can you tell me?

Nice. I do though, have soemthing to offer that may save your sanity forever! If you finished line art that you made with the hard 9 brush has no holes in it... ctrl click on the thumbnail of that layer. Make a new layer above it and with the selection still made, fill it with the body color. That will hopefully save you a ton of time spent on eraseing the stuff that went outside the lines.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
